This is the first Polaris resort to be built which opened in
the Summer of 2005.
All 750 properties were sold prior to completion and this is now a firmly
established resort offering excellent facilities.

The original resort was built around a 9 hole golf course with the
magnificent Intercontinental five star hotel as its centrepiece. The course
is now being extended to 18 holes and the resort is being enlarged with the
building of Mar Menor 2.
